| Warm Figs with Goat
Cheese 24 small
fresh black figs, halved lengthwise
3/4 cup crumbled goat cheese (about 3 ounces)
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
black pepper to taste Preheat
oven to 350 degrees. Arrange figs on baking sheet cut sides. Spoon a
little goat cheese on each fig half and lightly brush or drizzle
with vinegar. Sprinkle with pepper to taste. Bake for about 8-10
minutes, or until figs are warmed through. Transfer to a platter and
serve immediately. *this
